3D Printed Mandalorian Helmet
Overview
Completed Summer 2020
This project is a full-size 3D printed replica of Din Djarin’s helmet in The Mandalorian. The model was from Rob Pauza and it was printed out of PLA on a Prusa Mk3. The paint is a gloss black basecoat with a 2k gloss clear coat on it for an extra smooth finish and an Alclad II chrome top coat. The weathering was done with some dark brown and black acrylic paints that were diluted before being brushed on and wiped off. The visor is a black grinding face shield that was cut to the right shape then epoxied in place. The helmet is wearable and you have complete visibility through the visor.
