Nerf Strayven Integration
Overview
Completed Fall 2018
This is an integration of the Nerf Stryfe and Rayven blasters. The shells were cut apart then glued together using Devcon plastic weld. The seams were filled with epoxy putty and sanded smooth. The internal electronics of the blaster were removed and replaced to run off of a 3s LiPo battery. The blaster has a Dr. Snikkas aluminum flywheel cage and is powered by two XP 180 motors. The blaster is semi-automatic and shoots at about 130 fps. Cosmetically there is a set of clear resin cast components from black steel props, an extended magazine release from Dr. Snikkas, and a metal trigger from Worker. A voltmeter is installed in the back of the blaster to monitor the LiPo battery that can be activated by lifting the rear jam door. The paintjob is a Tamiya candy apple green base with Rust-oleum metallic black details, all protected by a 2K gloss clearcoat.
